Dr. Baker Akad is a highly esteemed orthodontist with a rich educational background and a passion for enhancing patients' smiles. He completed both his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) and his specialty training in orthodontics at Harvard University, earning a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Medical Science (MMSc). Prior to his dental studies, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics.​

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Akad has contributed to academia by teaching at Harvard and participating in the university's admissions process. He is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements through continuous education, ensuring personalized and cutting-edge treatment for each patient.​

Outside the clinic, Dr. Akad enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, and playing soccer. He is multilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and French. His humanitarian efforts include involvement with organizations like Save the Children and Doctors Without Borders.
